The Fast Responders initiative integrates qualified first-aiders into a network aimed at improving emergency medical care in local communities. In instances where every second counts, the system effectively reduces the response time by locating and alerting the nearest available first-aider when an emergency call is made.

Despite the presence of well-structured rescue services, significant delays can occur from the moment an emergency call is received until trained teams arrive on the scene. The Fast Responders system mitigates this issue by providing immediate first aid through local volunteers while professional services are en route.
